Features Issue 203 Oct, 2018

Everywhere you look, there is an element of rich history on display at Hotel Royal Singi. In the heart of Kathmandu city, this contemporary hotel offers not just amazing services, but also art and culture. The hotel has been renovated, revamped, and fully modernized since 2015. Taking a contemporary approach, the new designs are sleek and clean with a subtle touch of the traditional, with a focus on high quality art experiences. The hotel is a committed supporter of local artists and artisans, and has chosen to highlight cultural designs that are understated and personalized.

Hotel Royal Singi offers three types of room, and in keeping with their customers' needs, everything has been thought of and accounted for. The executive rooms are especially popular among the business travelers. There are four signature suites offered with a fifth nearly completed, as well as two-bedroom apartments for long-term clients or families. All the rooms have a clean, contemporary design with traditional accents and a focus on making the guests' experiences as comfortable as possible.

Each room is unique, whether it is in terms of the color schemes or the artistic themes. Each of the signature suites have custom artwork made by INCS, while that in the Executive Room was made by the hotel’s exclusive designer from Thailand.

The renewed Royal Singi also offers restaurant services. Bright and colorful, the modern styled restaurant called the BLVD showcases local highlights The restaurant also has a semi-private dining room which is available for bookings; the striking decor is filled with patterns from Newari and Tibetan culture. Using fresh food from the farmers' market, Royal Singi provides delicious continental food, as well as traditional Nepali and Indian food, with a modern presentation. A seasonally changing menu is also on offer, as well as an executive lunch buffet on weekdays, the latter being just one of the ways the hotel is attuned to their business clients.

Also well underway are a ballroom for weddings and events of all kinds, a fitness center, a zen oriental spa, and a rooftop pool. All facilities will be available to the general public in addition to in-house guests, and will certainly affirm Royal Singi's position as a coveted hospitality destination in Kathmandu.
