Yin Yang Restaurant is a hidden gem in Thamel, with its beautiful courtyard garden eating area and decor. Once you enter the place, it is quiet, elegant and welcoming. The garden area is perfect to catch up with your friends over brunch or lunch. The place is sunny, so which makes it perfect during winter afternoons. You can choose from other seating options, as it has a cozy dining area and intimate seating spaces too which are decorated with art and decorative pieces from Thailand. The place is well lit and elegant; you’ll like the it even before tasting their authentic Thai cuisine!

The food of Yin Yang is totally tantalizing and will keep you going back for more. “Thai cuisine has all sorts of flavors. Some are sweet, tangy, and some are spicy. It has a flavor for all your moods,” says Thai Chef Supakorn Prabhong, who has 30 years of experience in Thai cuisine. I really enjoyed the Tom Yam Kung, a spicy prawn soup, which was fresh and spicy. Yin Yang uses imported Thai spices and seafood for that authentic and lip smacking taste.

Along with Thai cuisine, Yin Yang Restaurant also boasts an extensive continental menu, ensuring something for everyone. They also have interesting weekly specials, which are usually off the menu, so ask your waiter about what’s recommended that day.
