Dear Readers,

The new year comes with many new opportunities and a new approach to life. And we all need it after the rough two years we've had. So, this month we've talked to a few inspiring personalities about their approach to life. Ani Choying Drolma, the renowned Buddhist nun/singer talks about how she utilized the time during Covid to do some good. Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, spiritual leader and the author of New York Times Best Selling book "Joy of Living" shares his secret to happiness with us. We also talk to Reinhold Messner, Italian mountaineer and adventurer about what keeps him going.

Nepali culture is very dear to us all. And being able to share it with the world is a joy. We talk to Amrit Shakya about why he and his team are taking the Machhendranath festival to Dubai.

Love for food is universal and we explore the delicious yomari and chaku. On the cover feature, we talk about how the star hotels in Nepal are giving local Nepali food a luxury makeover.

We hope you enjoy this issue. Take care and don't forget to wear your masks!!
