As the organizers of Nepfest had promised, a gig for seven most deserving bands that played at the Nepfest will be given a chance to compete again for a prized position. Aimbase, Dis-Integrated, 11, Spinal Discord, Unholy Sickdom, Fractals, and The Exorcist will play at this gig; the best  and among the given will be given a chance to open for The Legendary Polish Death Metal  Juggernaut ‘Decapitated’ at Nepfest 4 September 2012. The seven Nepfest warriors will also be joined by the band ‘White’.

CAN Info-tech 2012

The tech expo is one of the most awaited events of the year and this year, the expo will also feature the IT Conference 2012.

WANGDEN CARPET COLLECTION

Indigo Gallery will be host to the exhibition of Wangden Carpet collection and authentic Tibetan furniture from Rupert Smith. The exhibition will also feature the best images from the Indigo Gallery Collection, ethnographic arts of Nepal along with a collection of masks, furniture, artifacts and textiles from Bhutan and Gujarat.

Ekaram's Guthi Struggle

Martin Chautari is organizing a discussion series along with a film show about Ekaram Singh’s struggle. The documentary will be in Nepali with English subtitles. The event is about discussing the encroachment on land and structures of Adivasi Janajatis, by the state and their resistance to it. Participation is open to all.

Celebrating Talent

The second day of the project is set to have the participants well on their way to making an exciting and unique piece of work, for which they will have an option of screening on the ‘Local at Sattya’ rooftop event the following weekend.

Craft Art Studio is organizing a corporate football tournament in the city for all the corporate offices looking for some league action. The event will be a league football tournament, including about ten teams and more than nine weeks of play. The league matches will be held inside LAB school, but the organizers are also thinking of having the latter matches at JYC Ground and other grounds in the city as well.
